Automate Roles, Reactions, Responses, Filters, and Channels

Configure seize’s auto roles, auto reactions, responders, reaction roles, content filters, sticky messages, image-only channels, and other automation features.

seize’s automation module removes repetitive moderation work. Set up auto-assigned roles, trigger emoji reactions, respond to keywords, filter unwanted content, pin sticky messages, restrict channels to images, DM new joiners, and schedule channel wipes. Every feature described here is configured by administrators or Manage Guild.

Auto roles

Automatically grant roles to new members or new bots when they join.

Auto reactions

Automatically react to messages in a channel with specific emojis.

Word triggers

React with an emoji whenever a specific word is used.

Reaction roles

Let members assign themselves roles by reacting to a message.

Button roles

Same idea as reaction roles, but with clickable buttons.

Auto responder

Reply to trigger phrases with a preset message.

Usage: ,autoresponder add <trigger> <response>

Add an auto response. Response supports {embed} and variables (run ,autoresponder variables for the full list).

,autoresponder remove

Usage: ,autoresponder remove <trigger>. Delete an auto response.

,autoresponder list

List every configured auto response.

,autoresponder clear

Remove every auto response.

,autoresponder exclusive add

Usage: ,autoresponder exclusive add <role> <trigger> <response>. Add a response that only fires for members with the given role.

Usage: ,autoresponder exclusive remove <trigger>.

List exclusive responses.

Clear all exclusive responses.

Show every available variable placeholder.

Content filter

Block words, invites, links, spoilers, spam, mass mentions, caps, emojis, music files, and custom regex patterns. Each filter can be toggled per channel or server-wide and has an exempt role list.

Per-filter settings

Each filter type shares the same subcommand structure:

Available types: caps, invites, regex, links, spoilers, spam, musicfiles, massmention, emoji.

Regex filters have their own management commands:

Sticky messages

Keep a message pinned to the bottom of a channel so it stays visible.

Image-only channels

Restrict channels to image posts. Text-only messages are deleted automatically.

Join DM

Send a private welcome message to every member who joins.

Auto pfp (profile picture posts)

Automatically post curated profile picture ideas to a channel from Pinterest boards or search queries.

,autopfp add

Usage: ,autopfp add <channel> <query>. Set a channel to auto-post PFPs matching a query.

,autopfp remove

Usage: ,autopfp remove <channel>.

,autopfp edit

Usage: ,autopfp edit <channel> <field> <value>. Edit an existing config (interval, source, tags).

,autopfp list

List every auto pfp channel.

,autopfp reset

Remove every auto pfp configuration.

,autopfp post

Usage: ,autopfp post [channel]. Post a fresh pfp on demand.

,autopfp preview

Usage: ,autopfp preview <pin_url>. Preview a specific Pinterest pin.

,autopfp board set

Usage: ,autopfp board set <board> <query>. Add a Pinterest board source.

,autopfp board remove

Usage: ,autopfp board remove <query>.

Name style

Give members’ nicknames stylized fonts, effects, and gradient colors.

Auto nuke (scheduled channel wipes)

Wipe a channel on a schedule. Useful for temporary log rooms or announcement boards.

Auto nuke permanently deletes messages on a schedule. Never enable it in a channel with content you care about.
