Last.fm integration: now playing, charts, and crowns

Link your Last.fm account to seize to share now playing tracks, view top artists and albums, generate collages, compete for crowns, and run whoknows leaderboards.

seize integrates deeply with Last.fm so you can share what you are listening to, compare music taste with friends, and compete for artist crowns in your server. Start by linking your account, then explore charts, collages, and leaderboards.

Linking your Last.fm account also enables auto-scrobbling when you use seize’s music features.

Link your account

Use the official Last.fm authorization flow to connect your profile.

To remove the link later, run ,lf remove or ,lf logout.

Now playing

Show what you are currently listening to, or check another member’s track.

Custom now-playing embeds

You can replace the default now-playing card with your own design using template variables.

Useful variables include {lastfm.track}, {lastfm.artist}, {lastfm.album_cover}, {lastfm.scrobbles}, and {lastfm.artist_plays}.

To reset to the default embed, run ,lf embed reset.

Top charts

View your most-played artists, tracks, and albums over a chosen time period.

Set your default period with ,lf update <period>. Valid periods are overall, 7day, 1month, 3month, 6month, and 12month.

Collages

Generate a visual grid of your top albums.

,lf collage [member] <grid> <period>

• Grid: Format as NxM, for example 3x3, 4x5. Maximum 100 tiles total.
• Period: overall, 7day, 1month, 3month, 6month, or 12month.

Example:

Who knows leaderboards

See who in your server listens to a given artist, track, or album the most.

If you omit the artist or track, seize uses your currently playing item.

Crowns

Crowns are awarded to the server member with the most plays for each artist. To compete, you must first index your Last.fm library.

Server managers can hide users from whoknows and crowns with ,lf hide @user.

Custom commands

Set a personal trigger phrase that runs your now-playing command automatically when you type it in chat.

,lf cc <trigger>

Toggle whether others can see your trigger with ,lf cc public <trigger>.

Reactions and search links

Customize reactions that appear on your now-playing posts, or jump to a track on popular platforms.
