Steam Integration: Link Account and View Profile

Link your Steam account to seize to view your profile status, game library, total playtime, and look up other linked users in your server.

seize’s Steam integration connects your Steam profile to your Discord account so you and others in your server can view your status, games owned, and total playtime at a glance.

Link Your Steam Account

1. Set your account

   Run the link command with your Steam profile URL, vanity name, or SteamID64:

   ,steam set <profile url or name>

seize resolves vanity URLs and SteamID64 values automatically. If your profile is private, some details such as game count and total playtime will not be visible.

View Your Profile

Once linked, view your Steam profile with:

,steam [member]

If you mention another member, seize shows their linked Steam profile instead. The output includes:

• Online status and currently playing game
• Total games owned (public profiles only)
• Total hours played across your library (public profiles only)
• Link to view the full profile on Steam

Unlink Your Account

To remove your Steam link from seize:

,steam remove

Unlinking deletes the stored Steam association. You will need to link again to use ,steam without specifying a profile URL.
